When One Door Closes....

I've been meaning to write this post for a while. I've had a lot of questions about what I was doing with the studio going forward. With COVID still raging, vaccinations not abundant, and these new variants coming about, it's clear that my old business model is not going to work...at least for now.

Over the last 11 months I have been working quite hard to build a new version of DFitLife. In fact, about a year ago I started working a new executive coach to evolve my business to offer more health coaching and be on my feet a few less hours a day personal training. I was open to the new opportunities, and so they emerged. It was just time for me to provide a more complete wellness offering instead of counting reps all day....

And then... in the middle of March, I pivoted on a dime and started working with clients remotely. Suddenly we all needed to be focused on optimizing our immune systems, to stay healthy, and find ways to be fit even whilst staying home... Et voilà!

Fast forward to 2021 and I'm feeling so excited about the future of DFitLife. I see clients all day remotely- all over the world!! Since the shutdown I've been able to start working with people from England to Asia and everywhere between on "owning their wellness." While I miss seeing you (ALL of you) in person, it's amazing to be able to connect no matter what the time zone, the need, or the inclination.

6 years ago I was ecstatic to move my business into our amazing little studio in Mountain View. It was a home-away-from-home for me and so many of you for the last few years. However, my lease was ending, and paying rent on that empty space was starting to wear me down (quite literally). After much hemming and hawing, I have finally decided to cut the cord. Just like you have found your ability to thrive in the new normal, so have I. While it is a little sad to step away from the physical business I worked so hard for, it is also exciting to dive head first into this new chapter.

I know that whatever comes next as I continue to evolve DFitLife, it will be perfect. I know that someday soon we will be able to reconnect in person, sweat together, laugh together, and grow together. Until then, we will can virtually do so.

Please know that I'm always here for you. If you need support in any steps along your way to owning your wellness, I'm on board! Reach out any time!

Until we meet again my friends....
